English Nature

The digital boundaries of English Nature’s designated sites are now available on the Internet. These include SSSI, NNR, Ramsar sites, SPA, cSAC and ancient woodlands. Also available are natural and character area boundaries. There is no charge for the data and few restrictions on data usage. The data will be updated regularly. In Greater Manchester there are 29 SSSIs covering 44.1 sq km. The 5 SPAs cover 39.8 sq km.

Housing and support services
