Greater Manchester Research is the strategic research and information service of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) and is based within the Chief Executive's Department of Oldham MBC.
The Greater Manchester Research Library is incorporated in Greater Manchester Research. It maintains an in-house database of references of press articles dealing with the national and regional economy and with local government matters in general, and publishes a variety of bulletins, including a daily information bulletin of summaries of press articles at this website.
Greater Manchester Research publishes the results of its research and information in a variety of reports, bulletins and briefings.
Greater Manchester Research also offers training and consultancy services suited to individual needs - particularly in aspects of Information Technology and Geographical Information Systems.
